The Caerphilly Bisnet Project Team is located at the Tredomen Business and Technology Centre, Ystrad Mynach. The team are part of Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Economic Development Unit, providing free and independent ICT advice and a range of ICT support initiatives for local businesses.
The project focuses on helping local business overcome the uncertainties associated with adopting new computer based technologies and provides support and assistance to ensure local SMEs make the right ICT investment choices.
The Council is the first local authority in Wales to launch an eProcurement pilot known as ‘Project Acquisition’, with the aim of helping local businesses engage in tendering online.
The Bisnet portal will provide links to an eMarketplace. Businesses in Caerphilly County Borough are being encouraged to sign up to this innovative e-procurement pilot project which will help transform the way they do business in the 21st Century.
